Leather is our material of choice due to its durability and increasing attractiveness with use. Its patina attenuates a vintage pastoral look coveted by many. We choose leather with character and water proofing to provide the structure that a bag needs to stand the test of time. We use 5-ounce Texas bull hides tanned exclusively for our bags. 

Selecting materials for our product takes a discerning eye. It takes knowledge in the field to know how certain materials hold up and perform. We field test our gear and analyze wear and overall performance.  We use high grade cotton canvas that is water proofed and dye fasted to eliminate fading. We also import Scottish wool to give our bags a visual warmth and texture.
